The standards groodle stands 17-20 inches tall at the shoulders and has a weight of 40-50 pounds. Lastly, the large variety reaches a height of 20-24 inches at the shoulders and weighs between 50-90 pounds.

Comparatively, the popularity of the groodle has risen much faster. The reason for the fast popularity is the positive personality traits the breed commands. The dog is friendly, accepting, and intelligent in nature. It is very affectionate, which makes it a perfect companion as a family pet. They enjoy human company a lot and when trained properly, they are very loyal. When they are in the right mood, they can be very playful and mischievous.

Various factors affect temperament including socialization, heredity, and training. They need constant human company to develop good traits because they tend to become mischievous when left along for most of the time. The coexist nicely with other pets and breeds as well as children. They should be exercised moderately and they have low-maintenance coats.

The health of goldendoodles is generally better than that of their parents. Also, they live much longer when compared to their parents. The only genetic health issues that affect the groodles are those that also affect poodles and retrievers. Patella disorder, elbow disorder, PRA, and CHD are among the most prevalent health problems that one should watch out for.
