In nearly all homesteads, there are dogs. Even if you live in the urban areas, chances of you not having a dog and several other pets are minimal. There is a difference though between dogs that live in both the two areas, as urban dogs would mostly spend lots of time in the house or locked in cars, while their masters are in their job places, or spending most of their time in social places. The next step would be inquiring the training level of the candidate. This is crucial because the walker should be experienced and well trained and not just anyone who wants to make a quick buck. Also, take in someone whose dog handing methods you agree with.

Your dogs need you to take them out in order to enjoy and appreciate the environment. They like the breeze, smelling around seeing and appreciating other animals, other dogs and be social in nature. This will elongate their lives thus having a lot of life to keep you company.
