Georgia residents have all heard about the strange woman who was living in Waverly, Hall. She had earned the title of a crazy cat lady who was truly out of her mind. Every animal around knew that they could receive food and shelter from her once they ventured onto her property. She really adored felines out of every species which existed.
Many years after her husband had passed away this particular woman had become desperate for human company. She would often attend church in order to pray for new love relationships or friendships. Unfortunately this odd woman did not fit in with many of the other individuals who attended this holy house. People would often stare at her once she entered into the doorways of the church.
One day the preacher and his wife took pity upon her and invited this unfortunate soul to dinner. She was very happy to receive the invitation and accepted immediately. For years no one else had ever taken the time to invite her to any type of social function. After the services were over the lucky lady rushed home to find a respectable dress to wear. She did not want to dress inappropriately for the pastor and his spouse.
Once she arrived at their house they invited her inside and she was then seated within the living room. The three of them had a lovely conversation before they all entered into the dining room for dinner. The meal was very delicious and her stomach was quite full. The pastor's wife then excused herself and left the room for a few moments.
The younger woman returned to the room with a kitten wrapped up in a blanket. This was indeed a precious gift for the older lonely woman. The old gal accepted the feline and embraced her female host. After all of this time she was now going to have a feline of her own and this was a good thing. All of her dreams had finally come true.
Fortunately this entire night had went splendidly and she now had a pet to take home. She would love and care for him for the rest of her life. Time had passed very quickly and this little kitten was getting bigger each and every day. When it was cold outside the elder woman took the time to sew a sweater and socks for her pet. He was lucky enough to also have a small bed of his very own within her bedroom.
This was one strange couple who had become true pals and they seemed to fully understand one another. The animal was not afraid of water which is very odd for a feline. He was able to obtain a bath every day of the week and he truly loved cologne.
He was more like a child to her than a pet and everyone around knew this information for a fact. It was also strange that this woman and her feline passed away at the same time. The two of them were buried together within the same coffin.
