By Wol Jensen

Here are some dog training tips to help get your dog to learn how to come when called, sit, stop barking or any other behavior. These training tips are very important to obtaining quick results that will stay with your dog and will help in developing a strong bond between you and your dog.

Our first dog training tip is that you will need to win your dog's mind. This means that your canine will look st you before they make any decision. Without owning their mind, training your dog will be a struggle. There are five golden when it comes to training a dog.

You will need to put these dog training tips in place, otherwise you will fail at training your dog properly. A properly trained dog will listen all the time to their pack leader, because the pack leader has won the mind of their dog.

Motivating your dog is the second dog training tip. Find out what your dog likes for exercise and play, along with what rewards will make them happy. These can be used when training them so they enjoy the training instead of becoming bored and not being very receptive.

Each dog has their own favorite things they do and want, like fetching a ball, going for walks, swimming and many others. Before you start your training with them, find out what your dog likes and dislikes by working with them, and incorporate their likes into their training.

All dogs like food as a reward. Dog biscuits or dog treats are commonly used for rewarding your dog for good behavior. Giving your dog verbal praise, cuddling them, or petting them are also good methods of rewarding your dog.

Be fair with your dog during training and you will get better results. Affection goes a long way when it comes to giving your dog a reward. Be careful that you will not reward them for good behavior every time with food, but when using food as a reward then vary the types of food used and do not let them see the reward before completing the desired training.

Our number three dog training tip is patience. Stay training them on the same task so they have no problems understanding it, and keep your dog motivated and you will not need any negative training methods.
